Previously part of the Front Office team at our Hinkley and Sedgemoor campus, Annia Holleron has recently been promoted to Sales and Marketing Administrator. We speak to her to get an insight into what her new role entails.
Annia Holleron, Sales and Marketing Administrator, based on both Hinkley & Sedgemoor Campus
What are the day-to-day tasks involved in your role?
These include overseeing the conferencing and events department, making guest reservations, and assisting the sales and marketing team with tasks such as social media posts and guest communications.
What do you most enjoy about your role?
I am new to the role and am very much enjoying my time learning new skills.
What’s one work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
I’m really proud of my recent promotion into my current role. I’ve worked at HOST for 3 years and I’ve always wanted to get involved with the Sales and Marketing department, so it’s been great to have been given the support and the opportunity to do this.
What one of HOST’s core values and behaviours drives you the most?
I would say caring, I thinks it very important to care both about the work you are doing and the team around you.
What’s your favourite spot on campus? And why?
The reception area, my previous role was within the Front Office department, so I spent all of my time behind the reception desk. I thoroughly enjoyed being in a central location and it was always nice to have lots of people around.
