On October 22nd, HOST hosted a 24-hour Move-A-Thon at our Hinkley Campus, beginning at 6:00 PM. The event aimed to raise funds for St. Margaret’s Hospice, a charity close to our hearts due to the invaluable support our Team Members have received from them over the years.
To achieve this goal, we set out to fill 48 slots, each 30 minutes long, inviting team members, guests, and the wider HPC workforce to walk or run on a treadmill in our Reception area, all while being live-streamed.
The Move-A-Thon kicked off with an inspiring speech from our Campus Operations Director, Mark Flinton, alongside James Rimmer, the Chief Executive Officer of St. Margaret’s Hospice. Throughout the evening, the hospice's beloved mascot, Busy Bee, posed for photos with attendees. Additionally, our Team sold cakes and raffle tickets to encourage further donations.
The event concluded with a live raffle draw, featuring generous prizes donated by local businesses and sports teams.
