  • CAMPUSES

    What happens if I don't have a Site Access Pass (SAP) number?

    If you are new to the project and have not yet been issued with a SAP number (perhaps you are attending induction or visiting the site) we will require confirmation of your induction in writing from your employer that you are involved with the HPC project. 


    You will also be required to show Photo ID when checking in.

    Is there a minimum length of stay policy?

    Reservations at the Campuses must be a minimum of 4 nights. For further information, please contact our Reception Team.

    Can I leave my belongings in the room if I am away for the weekend?

    Should you wish to leave your personal belongings on Campus whilst you are away from work, then you will need to reserve and pay for your bedroom during this time.  No reduced rates are offered.


    Can I book at Sedgemoor Campus, but use my parking at Hinkley Campus?

    Your vehicle can only be parked at the Campus where you are currently staying.

  • CAMPUS FACILITIES

    Can I have a cooking device in my room?

    You are not allowed to bring any cooking devices, including, but not limited to, toasted sandwich makers, slow cookers, and gas burners.


    Only appliances provided by HOST can be used in the room. 


    Failure to adhere may result in being evicted from the HOST Accommodation Campuses.

     

    Can I have more than one car for my reservation?

    Parking needs to be pre-booked and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to limited spaces available, we cannot guarantee a car parking space per reservation.


    How do I get to the Campus and how far away is it from the HPC site?

    There are two Campuses – Hinkley and Sedgemoor. Hinkley Campus is adjacent to HPC and has pedestrian access directly to the Site’s South Plaza from the Campus.


    Sedgemoor is located a small walk away from Bridgwater town centre (approximately 30 minutes by bus from HPC). Current bus schedules can be found on www.teamhinkleyc.com.


    Do you have a shop on Campus?

    There are no shops, however, there are vending machines which carry a variety of stock including snacks and soft drinks, toiletries and electrical paraphernalia.


    Bridgwater offers a multitude of different supermarkets and shops.


    Is there laundry facilities?

    Card-operated washing/drying machines are located by Block 1, 8, and 26 at Sedgemoor Campus and located between Blocks 11 and 14 at Hinkley Campus. PPE cannot be washed in these machines. 


    We also have an external company called Posh Wash. Posh Wash will collect and drop off your laundry on designated days. Please speak to our Reception Team for more information.


    What facilities are available on the Campuses? 

    At our Campuses, we offer two bars, an indoor and outdoor gym, a Restaurant with 24-hour service and a range of Social Events throughout the week (The timetable for this can be found here).


    Do you monitor alcohol consumption in the bars?

    No, we do not monitor alcohol consumption. However, any consumption which later leads to unruly behaviour/behaviour outside of your Code of Conduct will be reported to both the Senior Management of HOST, the Employer and NNB

  • BREAN SANDS

    Can I have family and friends stay at Brean Sands?

    Yes, as long as our Reception Team are notified 24 hours before the arrival, we allow family and friends over 18 to stay overnight at Brean Sands. Under 18s are able to stay at the Campus during UK school holidays and weekends.

    Should you wish to leave your personal belongings at Brean Sands whilst you are away from work, then you will need to reserve and pay for your bedroom during this time.  No reduced rates are offered.


  • BREAN SANDS FACILITIES

    Can I have more than one car for my reservation?

    Parking needs to be pre-booked and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Providing there is availability, if your booking is for a multiple occupancy room each guest registered to stay can have a vehicle. 


    How do I get to the Campus and how far away is it from the HPC site?

    Brean Sands accommodation is located 20 minutes from the M5 and can be accessed by vehicle or on foot.


    Brean Sands is approximately 55 minutes from HPC. Current bus schedules can be found on www.teamhinkleyc.com


    Do you have a shop on Campus?

    We do have an onsite Nisa Local which opens Monday-Friday 0700-1300 & 15:00-20:30 Saturday & Sunday 0700-1900.


    Is there laundry facilities?

    Card-operated washing/drying machines are located outside of the gym and the Nisa Local. PPE cannot be washed in these machines. 


    What facilities are available on Brean Sands? 

    At Brean Sands, we offer a lounge & Sports bar, an indoor & Outdoor gym and swimming pool, a Nisa Local and Boxing classes offered on Tuesday mornings and evenings.
